An unremarkable day twas.
except for the heavens' continuous pouring.
life as boring as ever,
topped with college's miseries.
lost in thoughts such,
little did I realise the bus coming to a halt.
my mental absence continued till I felt someone sit next to me.
Coming out of my reverie,
I looked aside to see,
the girl who has forever stolen my heart from me.
For a fleeting moment our gazes met,
promptly I lost myself in those deep black eyes.
I started building up my courage all the way,
till I noticed her engagement ring.
Turning away,
I just smiled,
used to the terrible luck I've always had.
